Clara H. Carlson School celebrated Kindness Awareness Week from Feb. 10-14. This year’s theme was “Kindness – Pass It On!”
Throughout the week, the students were challenged to perform as many kind deeds as possible. Each day focused on a different theme and included dress-up fun, a quote and a simple challenge. On Monday, students also received a checklist of random acts of kindness to complete throughout the week.
Students were encouraged to wear crazy and fun socks on Monday, crazy hats on Tuesday, Clara H. Carlson shirts on Wednesday, as well as funky hairstyles and mismatched clothing on Thursday. On Friday, the students were asked to dress like a shining star to symbolize being bully-free from head to toe.
The school held Kindness Awareness Week to show the students the power that kindness can have in everyday life.
