Located on the Queens/Nassau border, the Elmont Union Free School District is comprised of six elementary schools providing a comprehensive pre-k to sixth grade program for children from varied backgrounds and international origins.

Our educational approach focuses on meeting and exceeding state learning standards. Students develop reasoning, decision-making, and citizenship skills in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.

School administrators maintain close partnerships with parents, community organizations and our elected officials as we prepare youngsters to take on the roles of citizen, neighbor and responsible, caring adult.
