Dear Elmont School Family:

It is a privilege for me to have this opportunity to serve as the Superintendent of Schools for the Elmont School District. I am excited to embark on this journey and will seek to do so in full partnership with all members of the Elmont school community.

As I begin this journey, I understand the importance of listening to the diverse voices within our school community. It is my goal to meet with individual students, parents, teachers, staff and members of organizations within our community. Through these meetings, I hope to develop a better understanding of our District’s people, programs, and practices. I hope to gain a better understanding of how our daily actions are aligned to the District’s philosophy, vision, mission, and student outcomes. Not only will these meetings and interactions provide me with a better understanding of the Elmont School District, but they will help to build a strong foundation for our collaborative partnership and future work.

Elmont has had a well-deserved reputation as a strong and close-knit school community that cares passionately for its scholars and educational excellence. By working together, we will not only ensure the continuation of that rich tradition, but we will ensure that all our students reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. It is my hope that through our partnership and work together, we will be able to meet whatever challenges lie ahead, grasp the new opportunities presented, and provide our students with the quality education they deserve.

I am looking forward to working with each and every member of the Elmont school community. I believe that great opportunities await us. I look forward to working with you as we grasp these opportunities and continue to provide the scholars of Elmont with a positive and successful learning experience each day. Together, we will ensure that Elmont continues to be a wonderful place to live, work and learn.
