Elmont Union Free School District is proud to announce that five of its nominees received awards and recognition at the SCOPE Education Services 2026 Award Dinner on March 23.

Fun and learning came together in a lively celebration of literacy, as Covert Avenue School scholars in grades K-3 showcased their word skills at the annual Vocabulary Carnival and Literacy Day.

Alden Terrace School once again transformed its hallways through the annual “If These Walls Could Speak” project.

Gotham Avenue School’s gymnasium was recently transformed into an interactive museum as second grade scholars presented their fourth annual Living Wax Museum in honor of Black History Month.
