  • Employment Opportunities: The District employs professionals across Administration, Elementary School Teaching, Classified, Substitute, and Seasonal positions.
  • Administrative & Certified Positions: New York State certification is required for administrative and certified positions. Paper résumés are no longer accepted. Job openings are posted on OLAS, and applications must be submitted through the OLAS website.
  • Classified Positions: Clerical, Custodial, Maintenance, Transportation, Teacher Aide, Security, and Food Service positions require Civil Service approval and are governed by the Nassau County Civil Service Commission. Position-specific requirements are available through the Human Resources Office.
  • Civil Service & Substitute Applications: Applications may be picked up in the Human Resources Office, located on the first floor of the Administration Building at 135 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY.
  • Fingerprinting & Background Checks: All school district employees are required to be fingerprinted for a criminal history background check in accordance with applicable requirements.
