Stewart Manor School Students Explore Job Options During Career Day

Stewart Manor School scholars were introduced to a variety of future professional paths during the school’s inaugural Career Day on May 27.
Family members of students and staff volunteered their time to share insights into their professions. This year’s presenters represented a wide range of fields, including engineering, art studio ownership, podiatry, science, construction management, public service, cyber defense, nursing education, baseball coaching, cosmetology, federal law enforcement and neuroscience.
Scholars in pre-K through sixth grade rotated through four sessions throughout the day, giving them the opportunity to meet with professionals, hear firsthand experiences, ask questions and gain valuable perspectives on different career journeys.
