Elmont Union Free School District

Our mission in the Elmont Elementary School District is to help students achieve academic success, develop an understanding of college and career opportunities, and develop social-emotional skills in response to life experiences through social-emotional learning! In our schools we incorporate, monthly themes (respect, emotions, problem solving, etc.), weekly classroom SEL lessons, implementation of the Second Step (SEL) Program, and daily mindfulness practices!
